When someone buys a gift from your registry, it isn’t shipped right away. Instead, they’re securing it for you.
You’ll see everything that’s been purchased in your Purchased Items tab.
When you’re ready—whether that’s before baby arrives, after you move, or once you actually have space— just log in, select Gift-Me, and follow the steps to initiate fulfillment.
You’re in control of when gifts arrive, not the other way around.
2. CAN MY GIFT-GIVER SEND THEMSELF THE GIFT?
Yes! 🎉
You stay in control, but you now have the option to let gift-givers ship the gift directly to themselves.
It’s perfect for anyone who wants to wrap it, bring it to your shower, or simply feel more a part of the celebration.
3. HOW DO I RECEIVE MY GIFT?
When you’re ready for a gift to arrive, log in to your Poppylist registry, select the Purchased Items tab, and select Gift Me. That’s what initiates fulfillment and shipping.
Important: Only you can trigger this step. Gifts won’t ship until you say so.
4. WHAT IS THE POPPYLIST BANK?
The Poppylist Bank is your personal fund inside your registry.
When someone buys you a gift, you can choose “Add to Bank” instead of shipping the physical item. The amount they spent is deposited for you to use however you want, whenever you want— in the form of an Amazon, Visa or Target gift-card, or a PayPal deposit.
If a gift sells out or the price changes before you ship it, we automatically deposit the original purchase amount into your Bank—no hassle, no awkwardness, no chasing customer service.
5. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GO TO FULFILL MY GIFT AND IT'S SOLD OUT?
We’ve got you. If something is unavailable when you initiate fulfillment, our team will either:
a) Reach out via text or email to ask if you’d prefer a different size, color, or a similar alternative.
or
b) Deposit the full gift amount into your Poppylist Bank so you can use the funds however you’d like.
6. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GO TO FULFILL MY GIFT AND I NO LONGER WANT IT?
No problem. Instead of shipping the item, you can move the funds into your Poppylist Bank with one click. Use the money for whatever you actually need, whenever you need it.
7. IF I DON'T WANT THE GIFT AND CHOOSE CASH INSTEAD, WILL THE GIFT-GIVER KNOW?
Nope. If you opt for cash, we don’t notify the gift-giver—ever.

8. HOW DO I ACCESS THE MONEY FROM MY POPPYLIST BANK?
When you log into your Poppylist account, you’ll see your Available Balance at the top. From there, you can cash out your funds in a few ways: Amazon gift card, Visa gift card, Target gift card, or a PayPal deposit.
Choose what works for you and you’re all set—whether that’s baby essentials, a restock on coffee, or a little treat for yourself. All withdrawals are tracked inside your account for easy reference.
9. WHAT HAPPENS IF POPPYLIST FULFILLS A GIFT FOR LESS THAN WHAT MY GIFT-GIVER PAID?
If a gift costs less at the time we fulfill it, we automatically deposit the price difference into your Poppylist Bank.
10. WILL I END UP WITH DUPLICATE GIFTS?
Nope. Gift-givers can’t “reserve” an item or mark it as purchased on their own. They either buy the gift or they don’t—simple.
That means no duplicates, no guesswork, and no awkward “Wait… did someone already get this?” moments.
